A Measured Force partnered with The Dad and Fatherly on A Conversation About Fatherhood, a live event co-hosted with President Barack Obama in celebration of modern fatherhood. Streamed across Twitch, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok, the panel brought President Obama together with five dads from all walks of life to dig into the shared experience of striving to raise good children. The discussion was moderated by comedian (and dad) Roy Wood Jr., with a special appearance from Kevin Hart.

The event coincided with the former president's memoir, A Promised Land, in which committed fatherhood appears as a guiding principle throughout his career as a lawyer, activist, and politician.

The program centered on a live, multi-platform broadcast featuring a former president alongside a panel of everyday dads, a format that demanded meticulous planning and flawless real-time execution.

The conversation needed to feel warm, funny, and unscripted, a genuine look at the humor, humility, and wisdom of modern fatherhood, all while meeting the scheduling and logistical demands of a high-profile guest and a simultaneous stream across four platforms.

A Measured Force led pre-production for the shoot and managed live event coordination from planning through broadcast. In pre-production, we handled casting and scheduling, talent coordination, releases, crew, and equipment, and built the run-of-show that paced the conversation and kept the panel grounded and natural on camera.

On event day, AMF coordinated the live production in real time, managing the panel, moderator, and special guest across a simultaneous stream to Twitch, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok. The result was a relaxed, genuine conversation about fatherhood with a group of average dads, one of whom happens to be a former president.
